The University of Udine is a public university with national and international outstanding reputation for academic excellence in both teaching and research. The University of Udine has already participated in EC-funded projects successfully (e.g. FIDES, QuiDPROQUO) as a lead partner thanks to administrative support and skills. IC-Health will involve the public health team of the Department of Medical and Biological Sciences, which works in collaboration with the University Hospital of Udine.

The University of Ulster has experience with co-creation with the elderly. The team is comprised of researchers from the Faculty of Computing and Engineering. The Faculty has a long track record in both teaching and research activities relating to healthcare technology. This has ranged from the delivery of health informatics and biomedical engineering programs through to advanced medical device research.
Tallinn University is the third largest university in Estonia consisting of 6 institutes and 4 colleges. It has more than 8500 students as well as almost 500 faculty members and research fellows, and is the fastest growing university in Estonia. Its main strengths lie in the fields of humanities and social sciences, but it also has a strong and constantly growing component of natural and exact sciences, as well as a notable tradition of teacher training and educational research.
